Membership Levels

Membership in the Scent Marketing Institute is based on the size of the company, as measured by annual revenue. All active members have access to our extensive Knowledge Base, marketing and PR support, networking opportunities and regulatory information and advocacy and may proudly display the Scent Marketing Institute Member badge on their websites and other materials.

Platinum Membership

Revenues more than $50 million/year

Annual dues - $10,000, or $8,500 if paid by May 1stMembership includes up to three individuals, with $500 per additional

• Automatic seat on the Executive Committee
• First choice for ScentWorld sponsorships
• Full page premium listing in the Scent Marketing Compendium
• 25% discounts on ScentWorld DVDs and research
• 10% discount on sponsorships, exhibit booth, and attendance at ScentWorld, access to members-only ScentWorld guest passes

Gold Membership

Revenues $10 million to $50 million/year

Annual dues - $5,000, or $4,250 if paid by May 1st

Membership includes up to two individuals, with $500 per additional

• Automatic seat on the Executive Committee
• Next choice for ScentWorld sponsorships after platinum members
• Half page premium listing in the Scent Marketing Compendium
• 15% discounts on ScentWorld DVDs and research
• 7% discount on sponsorships, exhibit booth, and attendance at ScentWorld, access to members-only ScentWorld guest passes

Silver Membership

Revenues $1 million- $10 million/year

Annual dues - $2,500, or $2,125 if paid by May 1st

Membership includes one individual, with $500 per additional

• Eligible for seat on the Executive Committee
• One-third page listing in the Scent Marketing Compendium
• 10% discounts on ScentWorld DVDs and research
• 5% discount on sponsorships, exhibit booth, and attendance at ScentWorld, access to members-only ScentWorld guest passes

Bronze Membership

Revenues under $1 million/year

Annual dues - $500, or $425 if paid by May 1st

Membership includes one individual

• Eligible for seat on the Executive Committee
• One-quarter page listing in the Scent Marketing Compendium
• Access to members-only ScentWorld guest passes

Junior Membership

Annual dues - $249

This membership level is for individuals, solo consultants, students, academics and industry members who are between jobs. It includes access to the Knowledge Base and the ScentTrends newsletter, but not discounts on ScentWorld, inclusion in webinars, eligibility to serve on the leadership board or use of marketing materials generated by SMI.
